The White Hart Hotel

Gay managed and positioned by the historic Lincoln Cathedral used for the filming of 'The Da Vinci Code' and adjacent to the romantic Lincoln Castle. A private terrace at the hotel and in front of the cathedral is an ideal place for your wedding photos.

There have been hostelries on this site stretching way back in history and it is recorded that King Richard II stayed here in 1372 - many Queens have stayed here since.

The present building reflects the stature of its noble heritage and presents a comfortable, refined ambience, whilst the antique furnishings and tasteful decor throughout the hotel enhance the overall atmosphere. The King Richard Suite and The Eastgate have been completely refurbished and re-opened in April 2008.

To add to that perfect wedding feeling all rooms are luxurious and well appointed. Why not spoil yourselves and choose the four poster suite with its total feeling of luxury, complete with separate dressing room. Tom Hanks stayed in August 2005 while filming the Da Vinci Code in this room. Or if you prefer a king-sized bed, then our King Suite is on its own floor with a separate terrace, overlooking Lincoln Cathedral.
