The National Glass Centre
The National Glass Centre is a centre of excellence in glass providing a free cultural attraction, education resource and artists production facility.
The Centre is an inspiring and creative environment in which artists and visitors can enjoy and explore glass through open access exhibitions, hot glass blowing demonstrations, classes and workshops and glass making facilities.
We have excellent facilities to hire for corporate and private events including weddings.
The Pod, Throwingstones Cafe Bar and Sunderland Room are all available for hire with catering available for 10 -120 guests.
The centre is completely glass fronted with stunning views over the River Wear and is an ideal venue for any wedding.
