Information about the area
North Yorkshire is a very dramatic county with its wild moorland, fantastic coastline and beautiful city of York - a perfect choice of locations for your wedding venue.
If you or your guests want to make a holiday of their visit to the area, there are the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Parks. If you are feeling particularly energetic there is the 100-mile Cleveland Way which crosses the heart of Bronte country.
As well as the Bronte sisters' home, Haworth, the area also provided the setting for Brideshead Revisited at Castle Howard.
