Intimate wedding venues
Many of our venues appreciate that you may want an intimate civil partnership with a few carefully selected friends and family members. We have selected below some of the venues that can cater for smaller weddings.
The house is set in three acres and has a croquet lawn. We have held blessings under the pergola. There is also a heated, telescopic glass-covered 50 ft swimming pool for pool parties. There is also a tennis court, an orchard and grounds available for great countryside photographs.
Millbrooke Estate is located near High Bickington in North Devon. We specialise in small intimate weddings for up to 20 guests (this can be extended to a maximum of 40).
A truly magical country house hotel situated on the edge of Lake Windermere. The baronial hall with magnificent oak staircase is the perfect setting for your ceremony. Set in six acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, the hotel enjoys one of the longest lake frontages and two private jetties.

The Red Lion can cater for all sizes of weddings from 10 - 120 guests in our newly refurbished and extended terrace, garden and riverside rooms. With fabulous views onto the River Wharfe and your own private terrace, they now form a self-contained suite giving you exclusive use of this area.

The neo-Georgian restoration of the house by the Gordons created an elegant, bright and homely atmosphere. The graceful staircase leads up to a suite of interconnecting rooms around the Square Hall in which sits the original billiard table. The Drawing Room and Dining Room are wonderfully sunny rooms with huge bay windows, and can seat 50 theatre-style or 30 for dinner.
The closest hotel to Buckingham Palace, The Rubens at the Palace Hotel, is the perfect venue for your civil partnership ceremony and reception.

A 17th. Century House in Wexford, Southern Ireland, Horetown House specialises in intimate weddings, tailoring each package to suite individual couple's needs. The House is exclusive to the wedding party and can be taken over in its entirety for two or three day events.
