Information about Hertfordshire
Hertfordshire is a stone's throw from London but would give you a wonderfully, relaxing ambience for your gay wedding. Guests travelling from around the country will find Hertfordshire is well connected with the M25 and A1 running through the county.
St Albans is the main town, which has a range of hotels or if you prefer the countryside, the rolling hills of the north of the county host a wide range of country houses and hotels.
The main local tourist attraction is Hatfield House - one of the best examples of a Jacobean country house and garden in England. Another attraction for the relatives making a weekend of it, is Knebworth House, a Tudor mansion that was turned into a gothic fantasy castle by Lord Lytton.
