For a wedding by the sea, County Down has miles of picturesque shoreline and plenty of venues to choose from in towns such as Newcastle, Bangor, Donaghadee, and Warrenpoint.

While the dramatic Mountains of Mourne in the south, the Ards Peninsula in the east forms a barrier between the sea and an almost land-locked Strangford Lough.

Belfast, Northern Ireland's principal city, straddles the border between County Down and County Antrim. The city is fast becoming a trendy hotspot, with trendy cafes, bars and restaurants springing up everywhere.
